Cheerleading Tryouts.

I havn't done cheerleading in 3 years ( it's torture! )
So, i tried out for my school team last year ( grade ten )
because they are a competitive squad and go to compatitions.
The coaches were girls who hadn't coached before and they had
just graduated from high school the year before, they didn't pick
me because they didn't like my short hair ( at the time it was short )
.....
is that unfair?
I can understand if it was because I'm not very good.
but, they said I was good and they liked that i said 4 years of experience.
It was just my hair..

There isn't a school sponsor for the cheer program? They aren't certified coaches? Sounds like you need to have your parents take that up with school officials.

As a coach, I would say it sounds very suspicious, and inappropriate.

You are right, it is unfair. We never judge by appearance, in this instance, hair. You should take it up to the head coach, and if that does not change anything, talk to your school official. You should have a right to be on the team. Let me know how it turns out.

they must think so : Shes great and shes good at cheering so her hair grow and her talent too so but it doesnt metter if u got long or short hair both can be pretty

it's not your coach's choices of how your physical apperance looks and is. They should be picking you based on your skill level and your love of cheerleading and possible potential and what you'd bring to the squad. Not what your hair looked like at the time...
